# run_drive()

Characterize every foot sequentially from the capacity target, top down.

## Parameters

`target: Target`  
Capacity target, pile and static soil state on the analysis grid.

`options: ModelOptions = None`  

`top_phi: float = None`  
Friction angle assigned to the unlogged top segment, deg. Required when the target has a top segment.

## Returns

`DriveResult`
